Hey! I’m Rebecca!
She/Her/Hers
I’m introverted and easy to laugh.
Love exploring other creative mediums (though I may not be that great at it!).
Can often be found singing and dancing around my kitchen while I cook.
Can’t help but love goats and their personalities.
Favorite TV show is Doctor Who (which is also my favorite bonding time with my dad!).
Prefer having a healthy and respectful distance from spiders and creepy crawlies.
Excited when I come across chairs that fit my short stature.

Ok bare with me here.
I know you’re wanting that perfect fit for a therapist, and most importantly you’re wanting relief and healing.
I hear you.
And I’m going to make this a short-and-sweet on lil’ ol’ me over here (no really, I am pretty short!).
Digging into your relationship, finding better ways to cope with the anxiety that’s leaking into your everyday, and truly healing the trauma and hardships you’ve been through - all the things that hold you back - are all things that I can help you finally feel relief from.
And it’s easier to do that when you have a therapist in front of you that feels like someone you can feel heard, seen, and guided by (you know, all that good therapy stuff!).
What clients have said about me…
You can expect to feel totally at ease and safe in our counselling session together.
You might notice you’re sharing it all, laying it all out there, maybe having some tears when you told yourself “I wasn’t going to do this the first session!”.
And it’s going to be ok, it’s going to just flow.
I’m genuinely going to be interested and try to understand how you are, why you are, what you’ve been through, and what you are going through now so you aren’t getting the “cookie cutter approach”.
I'll also challenge you and give you some gentle nudges to get to the root of what’s going on for you (not just the symptoms).
It’s 100% ok to struggle and have areas you want to work on, and most likely, you are already awesome at a lot of things (but like most of us) we overlook them or don’t believe them.
So we’re going to highlight what you are awesome at and pump up your strengths!
And top this all off with some laughs, and just a hint of sarcasm to bond over. Yes!
A recipe for some serious healing.
My passion and unique ability to help women heal from women's issues, domestic violence, and eating/body disorders comes from:
Witnessing the pressures surrounding body expectations within family, social circles, and even during my time in a fashion design program.
Walking alongside a close family member through a decade-long abusive relationship.
So can you get this transformation, this healing, and this relief? Absolutely!
Session after session. Doing the work. And showing up.
And I’m right there with you in it all.

I would ask my plants what I can give them in order for them to thrive in their environment.

My superhero power would be to hear my pets’ thoughts, especially when they are staring at me with such loving eyes!
